International Undergraduate Program (IUP)

Universitas Padjadjaran is offering programs in higher education through the International Undergraduate Program (IUP), which is a special track for Indonesian and international students to pursue undergraduate degrees in selected undergraduate programs with uniquely designed learning methods to conform to international standards. The undergraduate programs included in the IUP are as follows,

*) IUP FEB accept all school graduates from both natural sciences major and social sciences major.

A) Requirements for Indonesian Nationals
  1. Ensure that the general and specific requirements set by the academic programs pursued are fulfilled,
  2. Register online and complete the required information on the following page providing the following pieces of information
    • Complete name (as stated in the birth certificate or other forms of official identification)
    • Indonesian National Identification Number (NIK) or passport number
    • E-mail address
    • Mobile phone number
    • Password to be subsequently used to log into the SMUP (Unpad Student Admission) portal, (Please remember this password, as it will always be required to access the SMUP portal)
    • Country of citizenship or nationality
  3. Provide proof of English language proficiency by presenting one of the following certificates (mandatory),
    • Paper-Based International TOEFL (PBT);
    • International Internet-Based TOEFL (iBT);
    • International Computer-Based TOEFL (CBT);
    • International English Language Testing System (IELTS);
    • English Language Test (ELT) UNPAD;
    • Test of English Proficiency (TOEP) dari Pusat Layanan Tes Indonesia (PLTI);
    • International English Language Testing System (IELTS) Academic from British Council, IALF, dan IDP;
    • English proficiency from Duolingo (;
    • English Language Test from ITB or UPI.
  4. Provide proof of UTBK/ SNBT score or Academic Potential Test by presenting one of the following certificates,
  5. Upload the scanned originals of the following documents (mandatory):
    • High school academic reports from grades 10 to 12
    • High school diploma or certificate of completion of equivalent upper secondary education for graduates of 2019 and 2020, Indonesian national examination scores or equivalent international tests such as the IGCSE A-levels,
    • Recent 3×4-cm photograph
    • Indonesian ID Card (KTP) or Passport
    • Household card for Indonesian nationals
    • High-school report card (five most recent semesters)
    • Certification of English language proficiency
      Documents and information uploaded by the participants are subject to verification by the admissions committee, Documents found to be invalid may be corrected by the participant while the period for information completion is still in effect,
  6. Pay the registration fee of Rp750,000,00 via an Unpad-appointed bank to the amount stated in the billing statement generated by the online registration system,
  7. Print or digitally save the admission test participant card acquired following successful payment at
b) Requirements for Foreign Nationals
  1. Be no older than 22 years of age at the time of enrolment*.
  2. Hold a high-school diploma. Digital copies of the diploma and academic transcript or report card in English are required. If the diploma and the academic transcript or report card are not in English, a notarized translation must be provided.
  3. Be adequately proficient in English as evidenced by a digital copy of a recognized English proficiency test such as the TOEFL or the IELTS. For information on the required scores for a particular undergraduate program, please contact
  4. Provide an Academic Recommendation Letter from a teacher or relevant officer in previous schools.
  5. Provide a digital copy of proof of citizenship in the form of an official passport for foreign nationals or the Indonesian National Identification Card (KTP) for Indonesian nationals applying to the IUP.
  6. Provide a Financial Support Statement.
  7. Provide a Medical Statement in English in any format issued by a physician.
  8. Have proof of international health insurance coverage.**
